Performance Power policy pamphlet

Performance Power is the first step by step visual guide on how to get a permit to perform in public space. Hundreds of performers gather, speak, write, sing, dance and express themselves in the Johannesburg Central Business District (CBD) on a daily basis. 

Created by artists in the CBD banding together to help other performers, this pamphlet provides information on where to go, who to speak to and what to bring to get a permit. 

Performance Power is produced through the South African Street Artist Initiative (SASAI) as part of a greater project to arm artists with knowledge of their rights and how to safely bring their art to the public.
